I have now decided to get a life (or at least a real journal) and write down my diary.

I hate not being able to mention names on this.
And it's creepy thinking how people that I hardly know reading into my life.
(Yes, I know who you are!)
*gasp*

Hmmm... I never really update this, but then again, who reads it?

Besides Meredith, of course

Anyways, not much happened... went to Town and Country for lunch and ran into half a dozen people that I haven't seen for the past three years...
But, besides, not much.

It's 1:00 a.m and I'm on my computer looking at all the Emmy nominations :-P

Again, eating organic dark chocolate at 10:30 p.m. is not a good idea. I'm also typing in the dark so bear with me and my spelling.

Anyways, I think that every single show on TV is nominated for an Emmy at some point... even Spongebob Squarepants is nominated for something (Best Animated, however it's against Simpsons, Family Guy, and, yes Jenny, Southpark).

Oh, and Meredith 'House' is nominated for a bunch of random stuff ;)

Anyways, my predictions is that Desparate Housewives will win a bunch; Lost is nominated for waaay too many. Same with Alias...

Also I never knew that there was a Creative Emmy for Hairstyling... and Lighting (The Acadamy Awards and the past Olympics are nominated for Lighting...)

So... the 57th Annual Emmy awards is Sunday, September 18th, 2005 at 8/7c p.m. on CBS! (The Creative Arts Emmy awards is Saturday September 11th...*blinks as she relizes the date*)

And go to www.emmys.org for the nominations

Ill. Woman Receives $74,000 Water Bill

MASCOUTAH, Ill. (AP) - It's been a hot, dry summer in this St. Louis suburb, but Rose Mary Cook knew there was no way she could have used $74,000 worth of water.

The city's utility department claimed Cook used 10 million gallons of water last month, charging her $29,787 for water, $43,581 for sewer, plus $893 for municipal tax.

``Luckily, when I opened the bill, I was sitting down,'' Cook said. ``I could have filled every pool in southern Illinois and still not used that much water.''

Cook presented the bill to a public works employee at City Hall. The city quickly determined the whopping charge was the result of a broken meter and issued her a corrected bill for $32.66 - waiving Cook's monthly water and sewer charges for her troubles.

``My daughter asked me if I was hoarding water during the drought,'' Cook said. ``I told her I would, but I don't know where I would find 10 million gallon jugs.''

It is now 11:43 p.m. (and 26 seconds). Finally, I got into my blog. And I can't go to sleep. This is brought about by eating See's candy later than I should. I've been listening to this same song over and over again that my sister and I picked up from watching a re run of Gilmore Girls, (recently one of the first times that we've every agreed on a song). Perfect song for wallowing in self pity. But I can't find anything to pity about my life, which is fine right now. So I am pitying myself about not finding anything to pity myself about. I'm also in desparate need of social action, which, thank god, will be cured very soon. So here am I. And there is you. I'm not sure if that last sentence is proper grammer, but who really cares.

Gah, you know what's one thing I hate? When people don't return your e-mails, or phone messages. Expecially e-mails... I understand the common strain of phone phobia that it seems 89% of my friends suffer from, but God, just returning an e-mail would be lovely.

Rereading my own last sentences I just relized what a hypocrite I am (and a bad speller). Sorry to every single person I never replied to their e-mails.

Except for those nasty boys in 5th grade... Thank God for AIM blocking.

Though I've tried
I've fallen
I have sunk so low
I messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so

Zebra Gives Birth to Foal Sired by Donkey

By PHILLIP SPOONER

ST. THOMAS, Barbados (AP) - It's male. But what is it? A zonkey? A deebra? That's the debate in Barbados since a zebra gave birth to a foal sired by a donkey.

Alex was born April 21, a milk-chocolate brown creature with the black stripes of a zebra on his ears and legs. His face looks more like a horse, with a distinctive black ``V'' patch on the forehead.

``It's really funny and a little bit freaky,'' said Natalie Harvey, a 29-year-old waitress. ``I was stunned to hear about such a weird thing happening here.''

While zebra hybrids are not uncommon, most Barbadians have never seen anything like Alex.

His mother, Allison, is one of two zebras brought to the Caribbean island from Botswana, in southern Africa, in the early 1990s. The other is George and both live at Highland, a six-acre ranch where goats, sheep, ducks and donkeys roam free.

George, however, suffered a long illness, and Allison became friendly with a donkey.

``We knew she was with foal but were not sure who the father was,'' said Philip Atwell, the head of Highland ranch.

As for George, he seems to get along well with his rival's offspring. Ranchers hope Allison will eventually mate with George, who is now healthy, Atwell said.

In the meantime, Alex is the talk of Barbados.

``It's easier for a zebra to give birth to a donkey than for either of these teams to score a goal!'' a frustrated fan shouted during a recent soccer match, to roars of laughter.
